I don't usually write emails to praise anyone, but I just had to thank you for you fabulous podcast about novel writing. Although I am merely a high school senior who doesn't plan to write a book, I have found your tips and advice to be extremely constructive for writing novels, passages, or just an ordinary essay. The beautiful thing is that you are not afraid to go off topic sometimes and relate what good writing is truly about: to captivate the readers with fresh, effective language.

After listening to your podcasts, not only do I feel inspired to write in a gripping fashion and hook the reader, but I also feel absorbed in the state of mind to create something original and fresh. Of special interest to me are the quick writing tips, which I must say were worded so impressively. After listening to "Write What you Know," I felt the urge to remove those little earplugs and probe into my very soul for the next Star Wars. It seems that the podcast itself has a therapeutic essence to it; I could listen to your crisp instructions it all day -- all the while imbibing the valuable techniques to produce great work. Thank you for teaching us such invaluable lessons and for the exposure to great writing. I hope that the next podcasts will of be of the same quality and equally informative.
